2. literally, the point of impact; a mark or an impression on one object by another

Tupos is a youth outreach ministry band based in southwest Riverside County in southern California. Our emphasis is twofold. First and foremost, we are intent on spreading the Gospel of Christ to all we come in contact with. Second, we desire to share God’s love through music, with the gifts He has blessed us with.
The group formed in 2004 when a few worship musicians from a local body of believers in Murrieta, California were asked to play a youth function. After a couple of name changes the group settled on Tupos to emphasize our desire to reach the youth of the world, by leaving a mark or an impression through music. Taking to heart the Apostle Paul’s charge to Timothy to “set an example for the believers”, Tupos began playing at local Christian youth events. As God worked on the hearts of the band, the call was clear to evangelize through music and speech.
Tupos brings a high energy worship experience, proclaiming the Gospel of Christ, in a setting that is geared towards the youth and young adults of today.
