Stephen Tafoya

Twenty year old singer/songwriter/guitarist Stephen Tafoya grew up in Hemet, CA. He picked up the guitar at age 13, and started taking lessons right away. After Stephen’s father saw his serious interest in guitar, he took Stephen to the local music store and introduced him to a great variety of musical artists such as: Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, and B.B. King, to influence his growing passion for music even more.

All throughout high school, Stephen played guitar for the worship team and started to sing for the youth services at his local church. After graduation, Stephen moved to Tennessee for a brief period of time where he learned some life lessons that encouraged his gift of storytelling through music.

After meeting Teresa Taylor, founder and president of Sundae Music Group, Stephen was signed to the label and encouraged to write and record his songs to share with a broader audience.

This first digital collection has a wide variety of musical genres, from blues to acoustic pop.
