May the peace of the Lord be with you. I was born and raised in California; I gave my life to Jesus Christ at the age of 7. I wish I could say that I stayed saved but I turned away from God at age 24.

For 10 years I walked in the pleasures of my flesh doing what seemed and felt right to me. Selfish, self centered…yep…all that was me and I owned it completely. But still my life was empty.

It wasn’t until God started pulling at my heart strings…or shall I say I began to seek God because I felt empty. No matter what I tried or how much stuff I bought or what I did, nothing could fill the void I felt.

I could be in a room filled with people and be lonely. Or at a family gathering and feel like crying…finally I surrendered myself to God… but I still could not shake the feeling of emptiness.

It wasn’t until I stood still long enough to hear God speaking telling me what he wanted out of my life and started being obedient to him that the emptiness left. I could always sing but I just didn’t know that he wanted me to sing for him.

So here I am praising God and it feels good…real good…so to God be the glory for everything!
I am currently a member of Crossing Over Ministries located in San Bernardino California here I am able to honor the lord with the gift’s and talent he has given me. A Sunday school teacher and praise and worship leader, I am blessed to be a part of our outreach ministry, “Everyone Eats” food pantry.
The first lady of my church always says ‘God is good all the time, and all the time God is good” I have learned this to be the truth for myself and every day I thank God for the opportunity to bless his name. Now here I am praising God and it feels good…real good… to God be the glory for the things that he has done… for everything!!!
